How do I get started?

How do I submit a job or contract opportunity?

  • You must first register to start using CBSR's TalentMatch posting service. Register and we will email you to confirm your Login ID and Password. Check your spam folder if you don't receive an email in your inbox.
  • Please take note of your login ID and Password to access TalentMatch in the future.
  • Once you are registered, click on Post Work on the top ribbon.
  • You will see an option to draft your own post or to start with a Job Description Template.

What type of jobs can be posted on TalentMatch?

TalentMatch is designed to connect people looking and posting work opportunities that relate to corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

Do you allow internship positions to be posted?              

YES

Do you allow volunteer positions to be posted?               

Please use another site to post volunteer positions.

Can I save a draft posting and return to it later?               

NO, you complete the posting and submit it right away. Please refer to the Posting Checklist.

What information do I need to have ready before posting?

We recommend you draft the position before entering the details in Post and that you include the following in your Post:

  • Position Title
  • Organization name
  • Organization's website
  • Deadline date for applications
  • Type: part-time, full-time, temporary, permanent, contract, freelance
  • Position Description
  • Contact Information: person in your organization's name, email, and phone number.
  • Any special instructions

Can you help me draft a posting?

For additional service needs, please contact TalentMatch.

We understand that posting the perfect ad to attract your ideal candidate is extremely important.

Can I apply my own formatting to my job ad?

YES

Can I put our logo on my posting?

YES, you can include your logo to any post.

I need to fill four identical positions. Can I post them all in one Ad?

YES, we suggest you note such details in your posting content so work seekers are aware how many positions are available.

I need to fill four separate positions. Can I post them all in one ad?        

NO, each position will be a separate posting.

How long can a position be posted on your site?

Each post remains on the TalentMatch site for a maximum of 30 days from the original posting date.

Will I get a reminder before my post expires?

You will get an email reminder after 25 days.

Can I extend the position posting past 30 days?

If you need to re-post the position, this will incur additional fees.

How much does it cost to post a position?

Currently CBSR is offering TalentMatch at no cost for anyone and everyone to use.

When this introductory offer ends, a Rate Table will be posted. 

CBSR members will benefit from a 25% discount on all TalentMatch services.

Can I post my job ad in more than one language?

Yes, so long as the text is in the same posting. A posting can be in either or both of Canada's official languages of English and French.

My post is live but I want to modify it. How can I do that?

Please prepare your posting carefully before submitting a post.  Once it has been posted on TalentMatch, modifications will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances; in which case, please contact TalentMatch.

How can I close my post before its deadline?

We recommend you keep your posting up until the application deadline has passed. If you need to close your posting early, please contact TalentMatch.

Can I include in the TalentMatch post a link to the same posting details on my website?

NO, for security reasons we do not allow links to be posted on the site.

Do you have a Privacy Policy?

YES

Is the data collected through TalentMatch held on a Canadian data site?            

YES, we use a Canadian data site. For more information, please contact us at TalentMatch.

Do you guarantee TalentMatch?

CBSR's TalentMatch offers cost-effective recruitment. If you are not entirely satisfied with the quality of our service, your next posting (for a similar position) will be at no additional charge.

I created an alert, but I have never received an e-mail. How do I know if the alert is working?

New position alerts are regularly sent to all subscribers. Try modifying the search-words you are using to include more opportunities.

What should I do if I have forgotten my login and/or password?

Click on Login then click on "I forgot my user name or password". We will send you reset instructions.

The person that posted positions on TalentMatch has left our organization and we cannot locate our login/password. We have posted position on your site previously, can you help?

Contact TalentMatch and add as much information as possible in your message. We'll check our records to verify your identity and do our best to help sort out any issues.
